Baseball Preview: Holy Redeemer Royals vs. Carbondale Area Chargers
The Holy Redeemer Royals will square off against the Carbondale Area Chargers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Carbondale Area took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Holy Redeemer, who comes in off a win.
On Thursday, Holy Redeemer made easy work of Western Wayne and carried off a 12-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Royals.
Cody Quaglia made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Quaglia was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Holy Redeemer's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Carbondale Area, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
