Whitewater and East Troy are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Whippets will host the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Whitewater came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Clinton by a score of 3-1 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Whippets have suffered since March 26th.

Whitewater saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Paige Kollwelter, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Kollwelter's first of the season.

Badger hit East Troy with a four-run seventh inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Badgers. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Troy's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Whitewater, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Whitewater was able to grind out a solid win over East Troy in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 6-3. Do the Whippets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
