Soccer Game Preview: Picayune vs. Pascagoula + How To Watch

The Picayune Maroon Tide will face off against the Pascagoula Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pascagoula took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Picayune, who comes in off a win.

Picayune is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Hancock get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for Picayune as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Pascagoula didn't have quite enough to beat Pearl River Central on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for Pascagoula in their meetings with Pearl River Central: they've now lost four in a row.

Picayune's victory bumped their record up to 2-10-1. As for Pascagoula, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1.

Picayune beat Pascagoula 2-0 in their previous meeting back in December of 2019. Will the Maroon Tide repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
