Basketball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Centennial can now relate to. They fell to the Allatoona Buccaneers 72-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (60), the Knights still had to take the loss.

Centennial is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-11. As for Allatoona, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-5.

Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Allatoona, they will face off against Mays on Saturday. One thing working in Mays' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 21 contests.
