Baseball Recap: Forest Comes Up Short

Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-0 to the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Saturday.

Forest's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Park Place Christian Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Forest will be taking part in a tournament against Sebastopol at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Park Place Christian Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pelahatchie at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
