That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Railsplitters also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Lincoln let Corbin Kern and Kane Ladner run wild. Kern went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Ladner went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave Kern a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brayden Yates, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 15-29. As for Belleville, they now have a losing record of 16-17-1.
