Volleyball Recap: Red Bank Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Kenadi Baughman and Brooklyn Smith

It was a proper cat-fight when Red Bank took on Hixson on Thursday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-15.

Brooklyn Smith and Kenadi Baughman certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Smith had 13 digs and five kills, while Baughman had eight digs and eight assists.

Red Bank's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hixson, they moved to 6-14 with that victory, which also ended their six-match losing streak.

Red Bank does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hixson, they will challenge Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
