Recap: Prestonwood Christian North vs. Nazarene Christian Academy Lions
Prestonwood Christian North extended their postseason success on Friday against the Nazarene Christian Academy Lions. They secured a 40-34 W over the Lions. The win was nothing new for Prestonwood Christian North as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Prestonwood Christian North was led to victory by Tucker Richardson and Hayden Wood. Richardson rushed for 61 yards and three touchdowns, while Wood threw for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chandler Luedtke, who picked up 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Luedtke hasn't dropped below two receiving touchdowns for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Adams, who threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns.
Prestonwood Christian North's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.
Prestonwood Christian North is on the road again on Thursday and play against Baytown Christian. One thing working in Baytown Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. Nazarene Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
