Lincoln-Way West faced Lincoln-Way East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Warriors came up short against the Griffins, falling 9-3. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lincoln-Way West's defeat dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Lincoln-Way East, their victory bumped their record up to 22-4.
