Baseball Recap: Tri-County RVT Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Uxbridge, Tri-County RVT was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the South Shore Vo-Tech Vikings. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 8-7 win the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2019.

Joey Thomas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cam Cummings, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ray Evans, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
