Flag Football Game Preview: University Trojans vs. Northwood Timberwolves

University is 0-5 against Northwood since September of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Trojans will venture away from home to challenge the Timberwolves at 3:30 p.m. University will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

On Wednesday, University beat Rosary Academy 37-26.

Meanwhile, Northwood came up short against Camarillo on Saturday and fell 16-6. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Scorpions are ranked fourth).

University's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Northwood, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

University came up short against Northwood when the teams last played on September 3rd, falling 12-7. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
