Baseball Game Preview: Copiague Eagles vs. Huntington Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Copiague will face off against Huntington. The Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Blue Devils at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Copiague played in-conference for the first time on Monday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against Huntington by a score of 4-1. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Blue Devils on their field since April 24, 2018.

Aidan Roman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Roman was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

Roman wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Justice Santiago, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Adrian Cruz also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Copiague and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Huntington, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
