Soccer Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Falls Church Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Edison of the 9-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Falls Church, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 2-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison will challenge Mount Vernon at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Falls Church, they will face off against Hayfield at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Falls Church are facing Hayfield at the right time seeing as Hayfield are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
