Softball Recap: Rochelle Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Rochelle's offense. They came up short against the St. Bede Bruins on Wednesday, falling 10-0.

Rochelle saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mya Martinez, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Rochelle dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for St. Bede, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rochelle will take on Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Bede, they will face off against Marquette at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
