Soccer Game Preview: Landstown vs. Kellam

Landstown hasn't had much luck against Kellam recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Knights at 5:15 p.m.

Friday just wasn't the day for Landstown's offense. They lost 4-0 to First Colonial on Friday. While losing is never fun, Landstown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 40th, while First Colonial are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Kellam put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand Kempsville a 6-0 shutout. Give Kellam's defense some credit: that's the team's 12th straight shutout.

Kellam pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Landstown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.
