It was a good run, but McCallum unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 72-45 loss at the hands of the West Brook Bruins. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Bruins are ranked 32nd).

McCallum's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for West Brook, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Glenn the next time they take the court. West Brook will head out to face Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while McCallum will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
