The Zion-Benton Zee-Bees's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their tenth straight defeat. They took a hard 55-38 fall against Round Lake. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Zion-Benton in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Several Zee-Bees players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was London Davis, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Davis scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Kennilyn Alexander, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.

Zion-Benton has been struggling recently as they've lost 18 of their last 19 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-23 record this season. As for Round Lake, their win bumped their record up to 8-16.
