Basketball Preview: Broken Bow Indians vs. Ainsworth Bulldogs
Broken Bow and Ainsworth are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. The Broken Bow Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Ainsworth Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Broken Bow will be strutting in after a victory while Ainsworth will be coming in after a loss.
Broken Bow took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Minden by a score of 44-37. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Dominic Nowak was nothing short of spectacular: he went 8 of 18 on his way to 19 points and four steals. Those 19 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zachary Jackson, who posted four points in addition to nine assists and eight boards.

Broken Bow was taken down by Ainsworth 77-46 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Thankfully for Broken Bow, Carter Nelson (who went 7 of 12 on his way to 16 points along with seven rebounds and six blocks) won't be suiting up this time.
