When it comes to explaining why North Rowan lost, don't look at Jordan Massenburg. Despite the final result, he went 10-for-19 to rack up 26 points. Massenburg continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Williams, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Dominique Tshiboyi was a one-man wrecking crew For East Forsyth. as he dropped a double-double with 18 points and 16 boards. With that strong performance, Tshiboyi is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. Zah'Miere Harris was another key player, shooting 56% from the field on his way to 10 points.

North Rowan dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for East Forsyth, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

North Rowan and East Forsyth could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Cavaliers will challenge Carson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (407 vs. 27). Meanwhile, East Forsyth (ranked 301st) will meet Walkertown (ranked 140th) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
