Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Jefferson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kokomo on Tuesday, Lafayette Jefferson came back down to earth. The Bronchos lost 3-0 to the Harrison Raiders on Thursday. The Bronchos were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-8, 25-12.

Lafayette Jefferson dropped their record down to 5-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Harrison, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Lafayette Jefferson will host Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrison, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Plainfield on the 27th.
