Volleyball Recap: Hoover Takes a Loss

Hoover was the 3-0 winner over Austin when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Black Bears by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Austin, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-6 record this season.

Hoover is taking a road trip to take on Auburn at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Austin, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Mobile Christian on the 4th.
