Weldon Valley scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 20-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Front Range Baptist Falcons.

Zander Braun and Jon Smith did some serious damage despite the final result: Braun scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Smith scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Devin Quint, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-1.

Weldon Valley's defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Front Range Baptist, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
