Flag Football Game Preview: Littleton Lions vs. Mountain View Mountain Lions

The Littleton Lions will challenge the Mountain View Mountain Lions at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Littleton 11.7, Mountain View 8.3) so any points scored will be well earned.

Littleton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They snuck past Ponderosa with a 13-7 win.

Meanwhile, Mountain View had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.4 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Saturday. They breezed past the Warriors to the tune of 39-0. Considering the Mountain Lions have won eight games by more than 33 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Mountain View didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Jesika Hopkins led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Olivia Guerrero is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as she's now defended at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Ellie Roberts got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Littleton now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Mountain View, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
