Football Recap: Terique Graham Leads West Point's Defense on Friday

West Point lost to Middlesex back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Pointers put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 26-6 victory.

Michael Holmes had a dynamite game, rushing for 164 yards and two scores. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: West Point was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 300 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

West Point didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Terique Graham.

The win got West Point back to even at 3-3. As for Middlesex, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Point will take on Maret at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pointers will be up against the Frogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Middlesex, they will challenge Charles City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
