Basketball Game Preview: Spiro Bulldogs vs. Kiefer Trojans

The Spiro Bulldogs will square off against the Kiefer Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Spiro comes in on three and Kiefer on six.

In Friday's Canine Competition, Spiro prevailed. They put the hurt on Heavener with a sharp 40-17 victory on Friday. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, everything went Kiefer's way against Cleveland last Monday as Kiefer made off with a 56-30 win. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Tigers are ranked 313th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kiefer pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points over those games. As for Spiro, their win bumped their record up to 20-5.
