Basketball Recap: Athens Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Athens kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 69-30 defeat at the hands of the Lee Generals.

Lee has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Athens will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Tanner at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lee, they will challenge Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
