They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Clovis. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rockets have suffered since March 15th.

Goddard's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Roswell, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Roswell suffered a grim 14-4 defeat to Goddard when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Coyotes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
