Softball Recap: Ephrata Wins Going Away Against Lebanon

Ephrata won the last time they faced Lebanon and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mountaineers were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Cedars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mountaineers.

Lexi Palmer made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Palmer was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Kaliana Auchey and Emma Zimmerman did most of the damage at the plate: Auchey scored three runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3, while Zimmerman scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. With that strong performance, Auchey is now averaging an impressive 1.3 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Jordin Rojas, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
