Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Bloom-Carroll). Everything went their way against the Circleville Tigers on Monday as they made off with  an  18-3 win. The Bulldogs'  victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet  this season.
 Maddi Walters made a splash no matter where she played. She  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   six  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. That's the most  hits  she has posted  over her last six  matchups.
 In other batting news,  Jaiden Sharrow was a standout: she fired off two  home runs, four  runs,  and four  RBI while going 3-for-3. Those  four  runs gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Madelyn Gates, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Bloom-Carroll  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .632. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Bloom-Carroll pushed their record up to 15-0 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Circleville,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-11.
 Coming up, Bloom-Carroll will welcome Fairfield Union  at 5:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.67  runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Circleville, they will face off against Amanda-Clearcreek at 5:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
