Softball Recap: Aurora East Takes a Loss

Aurora East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 6-1 to the Streamwood Sabres. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Sabres this season, with their most recent loss being a 16-6 defeat on Tuesday.

Aurora East's loss dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Streamwood, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-20.

Looking ahead, Aurora East will take on Bartlett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Streamwood, they will face off against South Elgin at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Storm will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Sabres surely won't give up without a fight.
