Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Ridgeview's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Ridgeview unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of The Master's Academy Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

Kara Reed paced Ridgeview's offense, picking up eight kills. Reed got some help from Payton Cannon and her 15 assists.

Ridgeview's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for The Master's Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Coincidentally, Ridgeview and The Master's Academy will both be playing Columbia the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Tigers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
