Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Shore Regional's Third in Last Four Outings

Colts Neck came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Shore Regional, but Kimi Sayson wouldn't allow it. The Shore Regional Blue Devils put the hurt on the Colts Neck Cougars with a sharp 59-37 win on Friday thanks in part to Sayson, who went 8 of 15 en route to 27 points and five boards. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Ava Coyle, who posted 19 points and five rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.

Shore Regional has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Colts Neck, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
