Volleyball Recap: Los Alamitos Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pleasant Grove on Friday, Los Alamitos came back down to earth. The Griffins fell 3-1 to the Mira Costa Mustangs on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Griffins in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

Los Alamitos' loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Mira Costa, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

Looking ahead, Los Alamitos will be playing at home against Edison on Monday. As for Mira Costa, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. John Bosco at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday.
