Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DeLand). They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the Taylor Wildcats on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 11 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Taylor with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Katelynn Hatfield Hatfield (4), Alexis Martinez Martinez (3), Brianne Yocum, and Savanna Bruno.

The victory made it two in a row for DeLand and bumps their season record up to 13-9-1. As for Taylor, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

DeLand didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Seminole on the 17th. Taylor has also already played their next game (against Father Lopez), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
