Softball Game Preview: Bloomsburg Panthers vs. Lewisburg Green Dragons

The Bloomsburg Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Lewisburg Green Dragons at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomsburg has given up an average of 14 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Lewisburg's offense. They came up short against Shikellamy on Thursday, falling 11-0. The Green Dragons have struggled against the Braves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Bloomsburg has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Lewisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16.

Bloomsburg's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's match. The Panthers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Lewisburg, though, as they've been averaging only 0.5 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Bloomsburg continue to outrun the ball?
