Volleyball Recap: Festus Tigers vs. Lutheran Cougars

It was a proper cat-fight when Festus took on Lutheran on Saturday. The Festus Tigers skirted past the Lutheran Cougars 2-1. This was a revenge match for the Tigers, as the team was forced to settle for a 2-0 loss when these two played on Friday.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Festus who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-27, 25-23.

Festus had a senior duo take command as Vivian Glaze had seven digs and 18 assists and Delaney Schmitt had 18 digs, two aces, and a kill.
