Softball Recap: Beauregard Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Hornets on Friday. Beauregard fell 8-5 to Baker.

Beauregard's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Baker, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10-1 record this season.

Beauregard will take on Daphne in a tournament on Saturday. As for Baker, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pike Road at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
