The Whitesburg Christian Academy Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Elkmont Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Elkmont got a massive performance out of Savannah Williams, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those runs marked the first that Williams scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Harwell, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Elkmont always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Whitesburg Christian Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Elkmont, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.
