Football Recap: Lincoln Frazier Key Part of Team Effort in Wildkats Win + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Willis walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 23-20 win over the Westfield Mustangs on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildkats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 517th).

Willis' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lincoln Frazier led the charge by throwing for 273 yards and two TDs.

Willis didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Westfield to a completion percentage of just 42.1%. The team can thank Jamal Lagway for the heroic effort on defense: he. Willis hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.63 or higher in five consecutive contests.
