Volleyball Recap: East Union Takes a Loss + How To Watch

East Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Mountain House Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-19.

JEDAH HAYWOOD paced East Union's offense, picking up three kills. HAYWOOD got some help from LILY GROVE and her seven assists. GROVE was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

East Union's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Mountain House, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. East Union will take on rival Central Catholic at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mountain House is set to square off against their familiar foe Oakdale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
