Soccer Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 11-2 to the King's Knights. While losing is never fun, Northwest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 229th, while King's are ranked 93rd).

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-2. As for King's, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

Northwest will square off against University Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for King's, they will host Nooksack Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
