Baseball Recap: Osseo-Fairchild's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Augusta last Tuesday, Osseo-Fairchild came back down to earth. The Thunder fell just short of the Independence/Gilmanton Indees by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The loss was the Thunder's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Osseo-Fairchild fell to 3-1. As for Independence/Gilmanton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Osseo-Fairchild will challenge rival Eleva-Strum at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Thunder 1, the Cardinals 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Independence/Gilmanton is set to face off against their familiar foe Whitehall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
