After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Latta, Caney was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Rock Creek Mustangs get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Caney's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Rock Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Caney didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-4 win against Mill Creek on the 11th. Rock Creek has also already played their next match (against Achille), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
