Softball Game Preview: Pascack Hills Broncos vs. Fair Lawn Cutters

The Pascack Hills Broncos will head out on the road to take on the Fair Lawn Cutters at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Pascack Hills is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Pascack Hills came up short against Indian Hills and fell 6-2.

Meanwhile, Fair Lawn also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to DePaul Catholic by a score of 10-5. The contest marked the Cutters' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Morgan Hayes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Abby Watson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Fair Lawn and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Pascack Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Pascack Hills suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Fair Lawn in their previous meeting back in May of 2017. Can the Broncos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
