Baseball Recap: Los Altos Takes a Loss

Los Altos has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.43 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They lost 13-3 to the Wilcox Chargers. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Chargers since on Wednesday.

Gavin Moore was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Los Altos and nudges their season record down to 17-6. As for Wilcox, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-7.

While Los Altos had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
