Basketball Game Preview: String Theory vs. Boys' Latin Charter

String Theory is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Abington Friends on Saturday. String Theory fell to Abington Friends 61-55. String Theory hasn't had much luck with Abington Friends recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Boys' Latin Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Benjamin Franklin 87-58. One positive for Boys' Latin Charter, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

String Theory's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Boys' Latin Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

String Theory came out on top in a nail-biter against Boys' Latin Charter when the teams last played back in January of 2024, sneaking past 57-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for String Theory since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
