Bracken County's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Newport Wildcats get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The Polar Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Bracken County's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Newport, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.

Looking ahead, Bracken County will be playing at home against Lewis County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newport, they will venture away from home to square off against Calvary Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
