 Paris has been on the road for three straight, but  on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Hackett Hornets at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Paris gave up the first  runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them  down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Charleston  and snuck past  4-2.
 Paris let  Brady Owen and  Daxson Baumgartner loose on the outfield. Owen  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4, while  Baumgartner  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.  Alex Yang was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Hackett can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Cedarville  a   14-0 shutout. The  victory was just what Hackett needed coming off of  a  10-2 loss in their prior  game.
  Wyatt Hester made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Hester was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Steven Thornburg, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Trenton White, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Paris' win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-6. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.0 runs per game. As for Hackett, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Thursday as both teams have some strikeout artists on the roster. Paris has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 8.4  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Hackett struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.9. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
 Paris came out on top in a nail-biter against Hackett  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023, sneaking past  5-4. Will Paris repeat their success,  or does  Hackett have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
