Starting off the list is ALA - Ironwood's Ayden Williams, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Williams rushed for 345 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

Williams might have his next game, a home matchup with San Tan Foothills, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Williams saw the Sabercats), he rushed for 365 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per carry.

Florence Gets a Boost from Smith in 21-12 Loss

Florence was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Malik Smith did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Smith as he rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown.

Smith is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Crismon on Friday. Smith rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry the last time he and the Rattlers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Zayden Cundiff Makes It Two for Florence

Another Florence player making an appearance on this list is Zayden Cundiff. He rushed for 16 yards.

On the year, Cundiff has averaged 21.7 rushing yards per game.

Gamescore: 31.83

Another Florence player making an appearance on this list is Logan Stenson. He rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown.

Stenson and Florence will square off against Crismon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gophers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Rattlers, probably because Stenson had a solid game then too: he rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 160 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Gamescore: 24.17

The second ALA - Ironwood player making an appearance here is Malachi Gomez, and for good reason. He rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.

For the year, Gomez has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 73 rushing yards per game.
