Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Madyx Angel and Sam Sims Lead Pana to Victory

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Pana strolled past North Mac with points to spare, taking the game 53-35. Pana has beaten North Mac the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest North Mac has come to flipping the script.

Pana was led to victory by Sam Sims and Madyx Angel. Sims shot 89% from the field on his way to 17 points and five boards, while Angel went 8-for-11 en route to 19 points. The dominant performance also gave Angel a new career-high in field goal percentage (73%). Cash Lynch was another key player, putting up eight points.

Pana's victory bumped their record up to 10-20. As for North Mac, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-18.

Pana didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-41 defeat against Vandalia on the 20th. As for North Mac, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-40 win against Southwestern on the 20th.
